Key Responsibilities:

- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a global awareness through a well-structured curriculum.
- Support students in achieving their full potential at GCSE level and beyond.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the department.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and whole-school initiatives.
- Promote the values and vision of the school through teaching and pastoral care.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Geography.
- Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Experience in delivering lessons that promote critical thinking and global awareness.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at both primary and secondary levels.
- Background in inclusive education and working with diverse student populations.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with the use of digital and industry-level resources in teaching.
