The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school community. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach Geography up to Key Stage 5 and will contribute to a dynamic co-curricular programme that enhances student engagement and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Geography up to Key Stage 5 with a focus on student achievement and engagement.
Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s co-curricular programme.
Support students in achieving their full potential through individualised guidance and mentorship.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards.
Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment methods.
Engage in pastoral care and support initiatives that contribute to student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with the ability to teach Geography up to Key Stage 5.
Strong subject knowledge and experience in Geography education.
Commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4.
Experience working with trainee or newly qualified teachers.
Involvement in co-curricular activities or extracurricular programmes.
