Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving academic success through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, promoting their personal, social, and emotional development.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community through regular communication and involvement in school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching Geography at secondary level.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and the British curriculum.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
- Experience in international education or teaching in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and GCSE/A Level qualifications.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Experience in extracurricular program delivery or student welfare initiatives.
