The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified German IB Literature Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role will have a direct impact on students' academic and personal growth within a dynamic, international educational setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the IB curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach German IB Literature courses to students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP)
- Develop and implement engaging, culturally rich lesson plans aligned with IB standards
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and professional development
- Assess student progress using IB assessment criteria and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other community-building activities
- Stay current with IB program updates and educational trends
- Support student well-being and academic success through personalized instruction and mentorship
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting
- Fluency in German and English (B2 level or higher)
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate curriculum or French education system
Preferred
- Experience teaching Literature in an IB setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and global citizenship
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, multilingual environment
- Experience with dual-language or immersion programs
