The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified German IB Literature Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role will have a direct impact on students' academic and personal growth within a dynamic, international educational setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the IB curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach German IB Literature courses to students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP)
  • Develop and implement engaging, culturally rich lesson plans aligned with IB standards
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and professional development
  • Assess student progress using IB assessment criteria and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other community-building activities
  • Stay current with IB program updates and educational trends
  • Support student well-being and academic success through personalized instruction and mentorship

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting
  • Fluency in German and English (B2 level or higher)
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate curriculum or French education system

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Literature in an IB setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and global citizenship
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, multilingual environment
  • Experience with dual-language or immersion programs
