The Opportunity:

A German Teacher is sought for a fixed term contract from September 2026 to July 2027. The role offers the opportunity to teach German at Oxbridge entry level, with the potential to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach German to students at Oxbridge entry level, ensuring high academic standards.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire students and promote language mastery.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school, including extracurricular activities and student support.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to develop and enhance the curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in German or equivalent, or native speaker with a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching German to students at Oxbridge entry level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred
