The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach German to students from Year 9 through to Sixth Form, including A Level and IB Diploma Programme.
- Design and deliver engaging schemes of work, assessments, and provide timely feedback.
- Create and maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including language societies, trips, and cultural events.
- Communicate effectively with parents and uphold safeguarding standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Good Honours degree in German or a closely related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Excellent fluency in German and a strong passion for the language and culture.
- Ability to inspire students of all abilities and teach across a broad age range.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB Diploma Programme and teaching native speakers.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to pastoral care and co-curricular involvement.
- Proficiency in educational technology and resource development.
