The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified German Teacher (Part-Time) to join our team and support students across multiple year groups. The role involves delivering one-on-one lessons and contributing to a curriculum that emphasizes creativity, engagement, and global citizenship. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach German to students across a range of year groups, including one-on-one lessons of 45 minutes.
  • Deliver lessons that align with the school’s h³ philosophy, engaging the head, heart, and hands.
  • Support students in developing their language skills as a first language and as a foreign language.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the IB Diploma Programme if applicable.
  • Maintain a strong level of English or French to support communication and integration within the school community.
  • Participate in pastoral care and student support activities as needed.
  • Stay up to date with current teaching methodologies and educational trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified and experienced teacher of German as a first language and as a foreign language.
  • Ability to teach across a range of year groups.
  • Strong command of the German language.
  • Commitment to student well-being and holistic education.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Strong level of English or French.
  • Experience with teaching in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Familiarity with intercultural understanding and student-centered learning approaches.
