The Opportunity:
As a Graduate Sports Assistant, you will have the opportunity to coach in a variety of sports and support the development of young athletes. This role is ideal for those looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach teams in areas of specialism and assist with other sports.
- Support and enhance the school’s sports development programmes.
- Work alongside experienced teachers and coaches to deliver high-quality instruction.
- Deliver and support lessons in a variety of subjects, including languages and academic disciplines.
- Organise and lead after-school language clubs and workshops.
- Assist in the delivery of PE and athletics sessions.
- Provide additional support to students requiring extra help or extension work.
- Participate in the school’s extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A graduate degree in a relevant field.
- A passion for sports and education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to the development of young people.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or coaching.
- Knowledge of French, Latin, or Spanish.
- Experience in working with children in an educational setting.
- Interest in drama, art, design, or music.
