The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative hairdressing lessons that combine theory with hands-on practice.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and confidence.
  • Develop and update course content to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with industry standards.
  • Support students in building the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in the beauty sector.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s reputation for excellence in education.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of providing high-quality, industry-focused training for aspiring professionals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 Qualification or above in Hairdressing.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one upon appointment.
  • Extensive industry experience in hairdressing.
  • Current knowledge of all hairdressing areas, health & safety, and the beauty industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students.

Preferred

  • Previous teaching experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or equivalent.
  • Ability to support and develop new teachers in education.
