Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that promotes academic achievement and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance bilingual and international education practices.
- Design and deliver targeted support programmes for students with specific learning difficulties.
- Advise on curriculum development for Learning Support lessons across Primary and Secondary contexts.
- Lead professional development initiatives for staff in inclusive education practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support programmes and make data-driven recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with parents and stakeholders to ensure student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university.
- Recognised teaching status.
- Strong commitment to international and multilingual education.
- Knowledge and experience of specific learning difficulties and support programmes.
- Knowledge and experience of bilingual learning and teaching strategies.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Experience and understanding of curriculum development for Learning Support lessons.
- Experience of Learning Support in both Primary and Secondary contexts.
Preferred
- Significant experience in a similar position.
- Experience in classroom observation and faculty appraisal.
- A Masters Degree or further study related to Learning Support in Education contexts.
- Experience of timetable management for Learning Support teachers.
- Enthusiasm for professional development and reflexivity.
