The Opportunity:
As the Head of Admissions, you will play a key role in managing the front of the office and ensuring smooth operations for student admissions and departures. This position is central to the school’s student journey and requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who is passionate about supporting families and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet new parents and assist with the completion of parent enquiry forms
- Conduct school tours and organize assessments with teachers or via the CAT4 platform
- Liaise with Heads of School regarding student admissions and ensure acceptance letters are composed, signed, and sent
- Maintain accurate records in the admissions system, including inputting new students and managing student files
- Coordinate leaving procedures, including composing certificates and ensuring accounts are up to date
- Organize and follow up on trials for students requiring additional support, in collaboration with the Learning Enrichment Department
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, including printing absent lists and managing bus duty lists
- Support the Principal with day-to-day administrative requirements and manage appointments for SLT members
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or admissions role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using school management systems and office software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Preferred
- Experience in an international or multicultural school environment
- Knowledge of educational assessments and student support processes
- Experience with CAT4 assessments or similar tools
- Familiarity with British curriculum standards
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
