The Opportunity:

As the Head of Admissions, you will play a key role in managing the front of the office and ensuring smooth operations for student admissions and departures. This position is central to the school’s student journey and requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who is passionate about supporting families and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet new parents and assist with the completion of parent enquiry forms
  • Conduct school tours and organize assessments with teachers or via the CAT4 platform
  • Liaise with Heads of School regarding student admissions and ensure acceptance letters are composed, signed, and sent
  • Maintain accurate records in the admissions system, including inputting new students and managing student files
  • Coordinate leaving procedures, including composing certificates and ensuring accounts are up to date
  • Organize and follow up on trials for students requiring additional support, in collaboration with the Learning Enrichment Department
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including printing absent lists and managing bus duty lists
  • Support the Principal with day-to-day administrative requirements and manage appointments for SLT members

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or admissions role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using school management systems and office software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Preferred

  • Experience in an international or multicultural school environment
  • Knowledge of educational assessments and student support processes
  • Experience with CAT4 assessments or similar tools
  • Familiarity with British curriculum standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
