The Opportunity:

As the Head of Aquatics, you will design, manage, and implement a world-class swim programme for students aged 3 to 18. This high-impact role is essential to establishing the school as a leader in aquatics on both a national and international level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver swim programmes from Learn to Swim through to competitive performance pathways.
  • Lead and support the development of talented young swimmers across all levels.
  • Manage staffing, budgets, equipment, and resources for the Aquatics Programme.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Build relationships with external organisations and raise the profile of the school’s swim programme.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, security, and cleanliness standards in collaboration with the Operations Department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Science, Exercise Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years managing a significant swimming programme.
  • Minimum of five years coaching experience.
  • Ability to develop and manage swimming pathways across multiple levels.
  • A basic coaching qualification.

  • Experience in managing personal wellbeing and supporting others in doing the same.
