Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Business and Economics Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies to raise academic standards and enhance student outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the department.
  • Oversee curriculum development, ensuring alignment with global standards and the needs of students.
  • Support the professional growth of departmental staff through mentorship and training.
  • Promote student well-being and ensure that learning is engaging, inclusive, and personalized.
  • Integrate technology and real-world learning experiences into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to the strategic direction of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school or educational setting, preferably within an international or IB environment.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business and Economics, with experience teaching IGCSE and IB courses.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education practices.
  • Ability to innovate and implement new teaching strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Background in international education or IB teaching.
  • Experience with learning technology and digital tools in the classroom.
  • Familiarity with global collaboration opportunities and cross-cultural environments.
