The Opportunity:

As the Head of Co-curricular Learning, you will lead the Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) programme, ensuring it delivers a transformative experience for students. This role is central to shaping student development through meaningful co-curricular engagement, leadership, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the CAS programme, ensuring it aligns with the school’s mission and values.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of high-quality co-curricular experiences by CAS supervisors and external partners.
  • Coordinate and manage Project Week, providing students with opportunities for personal and collaborative learning.
  • Monitor and support the collection of student evidence in line with IB requirements.
  • Collaborate with other co-curricular leads to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to student enrichment.
  • Manage resources effectively to sustain and enhance the co-curricular programme.
  • Support the professional development of CAS supervisors, including staff, students, and volunteers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in co-curricular or educational programme management.
  • Strong understanding of the IB CAS programme and its requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in student development, leadership, and community engagement.

Preferred

  • Experience in international education or a similar mission-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with UWC values and educational principles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scale events or projects.
