Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and educational direction to the school community.
  • Maintain and enhance the school’s reputation for academic excellence and student development.
  • Ensure the continued success and growth of the boarding provision within a competitive market.
  • Lead and develop marketing initiatives to support recruitment and community engagement.
  • Foster a culture of professional development and staff well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with the Governing Body and the Head of Wrekin Prep to promote collaboration and shared goals.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s values, including its Christian ethos and commitment to safeguarding.
  • Demonstrate strong financial management and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership within education.
  • Strong strategic and managerial skills with a focus on academic and pastoral leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators and support staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and best practice in student welfare.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Excellent communication and ambassadorial skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in boarding school leadership or a strong understanding of campus community life.
  • Knowledge of marketing and relationship-building in the education sector.
  • Familiarity with the school’s Christian ethos and values.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or collaborative school environment.
