Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and implement a high-quality Computer Science curriculum.
  • Support and monitor the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
  • Assess and report on student progress, providing targeted feedback to raise standards.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and impactful learning experience.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Provide professional development and support to teaching staff.
  • Ensure alignment with school and Trust-wide educational priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science.
  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
  • Strong curriculum development and implementation skills.
  • Experience in assessing and reporting student progress.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school leadership role.
  • Experience with curriculum design and review.
  • Familiarity with computing and digital technologies.
  • Experience with teaching in a diverse and inclusive environment.
