Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance pedagogical practices across the English department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Model excellent teaching practices and support professional development within the department.
- Promote the Lasallian mission and core values throughout the school community.
- Ensure that curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting meet the highest standards.
- Support the continuous development of the English Language and Literature curriculum.
- Contribute actively to the school's strategic development and growth initiatives.
- Uphold a strong commitment to student wellbeing and character development.
- Engage in service learning initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A Level English Language and Literature.
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience in departmental oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality education and support student achievement.
- Commitment to the Lasallian mission and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
