The Opportunity:

As the Head of Equestrian Centre, you will lead a dynamic and well-equipped facility that supports riders of all abilities and disciplines. This role is ideal for someone passionate about equestrian sports and committed to fostering a safe, challenging, and enjoyable environment for both students and horses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the Equestrian Centre, including facilities, staff, and programs.
  • Ensure the highest standards of horse welfare and rider safety are maintained at all times.
  • Develop and implement training programs that cater to riders from novice to elite level.
  • Coordinate events, competitions, and training sessions across the school’s equestrian disciplines.
  • Promote the Centre’s facilities and services to students, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate equestrian activities into the broader educational experience.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents, students, and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and development of the Centre’s infrastructure and facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role within an educational or equestrian setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of equestrian sports, training, and horse welfare.
  • Experience managing large-scale equestrian facilities and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or boarding environment.
  • Knowledge of competition standards and regulations in equestrian sports.
  • Familiarity with youth development and coaching methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in equestrian activities.
