The Opportunity:
As the Head of Girls' Boarding House, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team, ensuring the well-being and development of students aged 12 to 19. This role is central to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes academic success and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the pastoral guidance and support of boarders.
- Create a safe, well-ordered, warm, and friendly environment with student welfare at the centre.
- Communicate professionally with parents and all stakeholders at the school.
- Lead and coordinate a team of houseparents, ensuring high levels of care and support.
- Maintain detailed student records with attention to confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Organise and actively contribute to boarding activities in the evenings and at weekends.
- Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with young people in a residential setting.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- High level of social competence and empathy.
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Preferred
- EU/EFTA citizenship.
- English language communication skills at minimum B2 level.
- Additional language skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
