The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mathematics Department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all age groups.
- Collaborate with the Head of Computer Science and other faculty members to develop a cohesive academic strategy.
- Oversee the professional development and performance management of the departmental team.
- Implement innovative teaching practices and support the integration of technology in the classroom.
- Monitor and evaluate academic outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with the school's mission.
- Represent the Mathematics Faculty in meetings, conferences, and external partnerships.
- Ensure the curriculum remains up to date and aligned with national and international standards.
- Support the pastoral and academic development of students through mentorship and leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong graduate qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in an academic setting, preferably in a senior role.
- Extensive teaching experience, ideally at the secondary or higher education level.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop academic teams effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues at all levels.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and digital learning tools.
- Leadership experience in a large or multi-disciplinary department.
- Experience in a school or educational institution with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity.
