Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning outcomes
- Develop and implement the Maths curriculum aligned with the English National Curriculum and global best practices
- Inspire and motivate students through engaging and innovative lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and student achievement
- Support the professional development of Maths teachers within the school
- Utilise technology to enrich and extend student learning experiences
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student confidence and success
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in academic performance
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a specialist Maths teacher at Secondary level, including iGCSE and Key Stage 5
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to develop and inspire students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Minimum of a B.Ed. or a B.A & PGCE with QTS
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate technology into teaching
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Leadership experience within a school or department
- Familiarity with international education standards and practices
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on STEAM and innovation
