The Opportunity:

As the Head of Operations, you will be instrumental in shaping the operational framework of a new and exciting school. This role is central to ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant school operations, while supporting the strategic vision of the institution. The position requires a dynamic leader who can drive the development of key support functions and ensure a safe, consistent, and high-quality learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement operational strategies to support the school’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Coordinate and support the development of administrative, logistical, and support functions across the school.
  • Ensure the efficient use of school facilities and resources, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
  • Collaborate with the School Management Team to align operations with the school’s vision and values.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance school operations and staff performance.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and systems to streamline administrative processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in school operations or a similar leadership role within an educational institution.
  • Strong understanding of school governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and across departments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with willingness to undergo appropriate checks.

Preferred

  • Experience in a new or expanding school setting.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or facilities projects.
