The Opportunity:

Lead the Prep School at a rapidly growing international institution, shaping the educational journey from Pre-Prep to Prep 6 while maintaining high academic and pastoral standards. This role offers strategic leadership and the chance to influence the future of a dynamic school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Prep School, including Pre-Prep and Prep 1 to 6.
  • Ensure the highest standards of academic achievement, personal development, and pastoral care.
  • Provide leadership, management, and support to the teaching staff.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of teaching and learning across all year groups.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Senior School and the PYP Coordinator to ensure effective implementation of the Primary Years Programme.
  • Coordinate the school’s pastoral care and support the work of the Prep School Pastoral Coordinator.
  • Shape the educational journey of students, ensuring continuity and progression into the Senior School.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role.
  • Deep understanding of the Primary Years Programme and its implementation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing teaching team.
  • A clear strategic vision aligned with the school’s mission and values.
  • Commitment to the holistic development of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in international education and IB frameworks.
  • Familiarity with COBIS accreditation processes.
  • Background in pastoral care and student wellbeing.
  • Experience in managing a school through growth and expansion.
