As the Head of Primary School, you will lead and inspire the growth of a new British-curriculum primary section in Muscat, Oman. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the primary section, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and values.
- Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that reflects the standards of a British education while respecting Omani culture and traditions.
- Provide strategic leadership to the teaching and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring continuous improvement in teaching and learning outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to support the school's mission and growth.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure consistency across all sections of the school.
- Oversee the development of school policies, procedures, and pastoral care systems.
- Represent the school at external events, meetings, and conferences to promote its mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a British-curriculum (Cambridge International) primary school setting.
- Strong track record in educational leadership and management.
- Deep understanding of British educational standards and international best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience in establishing or growing a new school or department.
- Familiarity with Omani culture and educational context.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
