Summary:

Head of Programmes needed to lead and expand relationship education initiatives at a growing charity.

The Opportunity:

As the Head of Programmes, you will lead the development and delivery of relationship education for young people and the adults who support them. This is a key leadership role, offering the chance to shape and scale impactful educational programs across schools and communities in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand relationship education programs for young people and trusted adults.
  • Lead and support a diverse team of educators and trainers.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of workshops and programs in schools and community settings.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and Youth Advisory Board to shape program content and strategy.
  • Monitor and evaluate program impact to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, community groups, and stakeholders.
  • Embed programs into annual delivery plans of existing partners.
  • Ensure all programs align with safeguarding and curriculum standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5+ years of teaching experience (primary or secondary level).
  • Strong track record in delivering RSHE (Relationships and Sex Education) curriculum.
  • Experience in designing and delivering youth-focused education programs.
  • Safeguarding expertise (DSL experience highly desirable).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in programme development and expansion.
  • Familiarity with education policy and curriculum design.
  • Experience working with charities or non-profit organizations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
