Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Psychology department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Inspire and motivate students across the Sixth Form to achieve their full potential.
  • Design and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that align with the curriculum and exam requirements.
  • Support and mentor teachers within the department to foster a collaborative and professional learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-curricular links and promote a holistic educational experience.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of inspiring a lifelong love of learning through passion and expertise.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior teaching role.
  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Psychology.
  • Experience in delivering A Level and International Baccalaureate courses.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
  • Knowledge of modern educational technologies and their application in the classroom.
