Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Psychology department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Inspire and motivate students across the Sixth Form to achieve their full potential.
- Design and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that align with the curriculum and exam requirements.
- Support and mentor teachers within the department to foster a collaborative and professional learning environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-curricular links and promote a holistic educational experience.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of inspiring a lifelong love of learning through passion and expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior teaching role.
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Psychology.
- Experience in delivering A Level and International Baccalaureate courses.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Familiarity with co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
- Knowledge of modern educational technologies and their application in the classroom.
