As Head of School, you will provide visionary leadership and drive the continued success of a thriving Montessori community. This role is ideal for an experienced and passionate leader who is dedicated to the Montessori philosophy and eager to shape the future of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider community.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality Montessori education.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage and grow the school’s presence in the local and wider Montessori education network.
  • Collaborate with the Maria Montessori Institute to advance training and outreach programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a Montessori school or similar educational institution.
  • Deep understanding and commitment to the Montessori method and philosophy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in team building, problem solving, and leadership.
  • Excellent organisational and strategic planning abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing a multi-site school environment.
  • Background in educational leadership or administration.
  • Knowledge of UK education policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in training or mentoring educators.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
  • Relocation fee of up to £7,000, if applicable.
