The Opportunity:

As the Head of Secondary, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators, driving academic excellence and shaping the future of the secondary school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the secondary department, ensuring high academic standards and student success.
  • Develop and implement strategies for whole-school improvement and curriculum delivery.
  • Inspire and support teaching staff through professional development and leadership.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring alignment with the British curriculum.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of the school.
  • Promote a culture of safeguarding and student well-being across the secondary school.
  • Ensure effective communication with parents, staff, and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Graduate diploma in Education or a related field.
  • NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) or equivalent leadership qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
  • At least 3 years of successful leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong expertise in the British Curriculum, including Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teaching teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in Cambridge schools.
  • Flexibility to adapt to Tunisia’s modern, multicultural environment.
  • Experience with international education and cross-cultural collaboration.
