Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Secondary School, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality education aligned with the National Curriculum and IB Diploma.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the academic, pastoral, and extra-curricular development of the school.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive school culture, promoting the professional growth of staff and the academic success of students.
- Oversee the management of teaching and support staff, ensuring effective leadership and team development.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider school community.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance, ensuring continuous improvement and student achievement.
- Promote the school’s values, mission, and reputation both internally and externally.
- Support the integration of new technologies and pedagogical innovations to enhance teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a leadership role within education, ideally in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and experience with the IB Diploma.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- A valid teaching qualification such as B.Ed., M.Ed., or Lehramt.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team, with a focus on professional development and student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in a British international school or similar educational environment.
- Familiarity with German language and culture, or willingness to learn.
- Experience in developing and managing extracurricular and pastoral programs.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- A passion for innovation in education and a commitment to student well-being.
