The Opportunity:

As the Head of Sixth Form and IB Coordinator, you will lead the development of the Sixth Form and IB programme, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning. This role is central to shaping a vibrant, inclusive community and preparing students for success in higher education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Sixth Form and IB programme in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Drive the ethos of the IB Diploma Programme and ensure its implementation across the school.
  • Support the academic and personal development of students, fostering a culture of excellence and well-being.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IB teachers, promoting reflective practice and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme, enhancing student engagement and community involvement.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of a bespoke Sixth Form Centre, promoting independence and collaboration.
  • Ensure alignment with the school’s mission and values, supporting the success of all learners.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders and other schools within the Nord Anglia Education family.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as an IB teacher and team leader.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of driving academic success.
  • Commitment to inclusion, well-being, and student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading curriculum development and innovation.
  • Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme and Business Diploma (BTEC).
  • Background in co-curricular programme development and delivery.
  • Experience in a large, international school setting.
