As Head of Sixth Form, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and pastoral experience of Key Stage 5 students. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic direction, management, and development of the Sixth Form
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, attainment, and wellbeing
• Analyse academic, attendance, and behavioural data to identify trends and implement interventions
• Ensure consistent standards in uniform, equipment, and attitude to learning
• Oversee the design and implementation of the Sixth Form curriculum and careers programme
• Support the transition of Year 11 students into Key Stage 5
• Provide professional leadership to Heads of Year, Form Tutors, and other colleagues
• Contribute to the school’s strategic planning through the Self-Evaluation Form and School Improvement Plan
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity
• Lead initiatives to foster student engagement and retention within the Sixth Form

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working in a British school, preferably in the UAE
• Proficient Level of English
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent with QTS or equivalent
• A track record of excellent teaching and learning
• Ability to create a nurturing and safe learning environment

Preferred

• Experience in leadership or management roles within education
• Experience with curriculum design and implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in behaviour management and pastoral care
• Familiarity with UAE education regulations
