Head of Spanish - Full-Time. Lead the Spanish department and inspire students at a leading international school.

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish across all year groups and ability ranges, including beginners and IB Diploma candidates.
- Lead and develop the Spanish department, supporting and inspiring teaching staff.
- Foster a strong team spirit and promote a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Deliver high-quality pastoral care and contribute to co-curricular activities.
- Inspire students through a passion for the subject and innovative teaching methods.
- Ensure the curriculum is engaging, challenging, and aligned with the school’s mission.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A graduate with a strong academic background in Spanish.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish across a range of year groups and ability levels.
- Leadership experience in a school or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to pastoral care and co-curricular involvement.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
- A passion for language learning and teaching.
- Experience in developing and leading teaching teams.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in teacher training or professional development.
