Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Upper School, ensuring academic and pastoral excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for curriculum, teaching, and student welfare.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain the school’s high academic standards and international reputation.
- Oversee the performance of teaching and support staff, providing guidance and professional development.
- Represent the school at external events and engage with parents and the wider community.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring alignment with the school’s educational goals.
- Support the integration of innovative teaching practices and technologies in the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong academic background and experience in curriculum development and management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a large team of staff and students.
- In-depth knowledge of British and international educational systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and leadership.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a school with a strong emphasis on co-curricular activities and student well-being.
- Familiarity with boarding school operations and student life management.
- Experience with A-level and GCSE qualifications.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
