The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Headmaster's Personal Assistant to provide essential administrative and secretarial support to the Headmaster. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of the Headmaster’s schedule and responsibilities, and plays a vital part in the school's daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Headmaster’s diary and schedule of commitments
- Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support across all aspects of the Headmaster’s work
- Coordinate communication and correspondence on behalf of the Headmaster
- Assist in the organisation of meetings, events, and official school functions
- Support the Headmaster in the preparation of reports, presentations, and official documentation
- Ensure the confidentiality and discretion of all information handled
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the Headmaster’s work
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or secretarial role, ideally within an educational setting
- Strong organisational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in managing a demanding diary and schedule
Preferred
- Experience working in a school or educational institution
- Familiarity with school operations, including governance and leadership structures
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures
- Experience in managing high-profile individuals or senior leadership roles
- Proficiency in using office software and administrative systems
