Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school’s academic and pastoral provision to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement a vision for the school that reflects its mission and values.
- Foster a culture of high expectations, inclusion, and continuous professional development for staff.
- Work closely with the leadership team to drive strategic priorities and improve outcomes for all students.
- Ensure the school maintains strong relationships with parents, the local community, and external partners.
- Oversee the delivery of an inclusive and ambitious curriculum that supports all learners, including those with special educational needs.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment that encourages student well-being, confidence, and achievement.
- Monitor and evaluate school performance to ensure consistent improvement and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher with a track record of school improvement.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Deep understanding of education policy, curriculum development, and inclusion practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a school with a diverse student population and a strong community presence.
- Knowledge of special educational needs and the ability to provide effective support for all learners.
- Experience in driving curriculum innovation and improving student outcomes.
- Familiarity with school improvement frameworks and Ofsted standards.
