The Opportunity:
We are seeking a visionary and collaborative Headteacher to lead a successful school into its next phase of development. The ideal candidate will inspire with a clear vision, passion, and ambition to drive improvement and excellence across all areas of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff to deliver high-quality education and support for all students.
- Develop and implement a proactive school improvement plan with a focus on innovation and excellence.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes the well-being and achievement of every student.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, the local community, and the Governing Body.
- Ensure the delivery of an innovative and aspirational curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Provide strategic leadership that drives continuous improvement and raises standards across the school.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and maintain a visible presence with all stakeholders.
- Support the professional development of staff and promote a culture of collaboration and shared success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) or current Headteacher experience.
- Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of school improvement and the ability to deliver on key strategic objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Preferred
- Experience with the Prince’s Teaching Institute or similar educational initiatives.
- Background in curriculum innovation and development.
- Experience in leading school improvement projects or initiatives.
- Strong track record in raising student achievement and attainment.
