Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school's overall operations, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision that aligns with the school's mission and values.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive school culture that promotes the well-being and academic success of all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with the Governing Board, staff, and PTA to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the school, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.
  • Support the professional development of staff and encourage innovation in teaching and learning.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and the local community to enhance the school's reputation and engagement.
  • Ensure the effective management of resources, facilities, and budgets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Head with a track record of success in a primary school setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policies, curriculum development, and school improvement strategies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school with a diverse and inclusive community.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school inspection processes.
  • Experience in driving innovation and improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Knowledge of current trends in primary education and child development.
