As Headteacher, you will lead and inspire a dynamic school community, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the successful delivery of the curriculum and education programmes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring smooth running and high standards.
  • Develop and implement a shared vision and strategic plan aligned with the school’s mission and values.
  • Inspire and motivate staff, pupils, and the wider community to achieve excellence in education.
  • Oversee the curriculum and educational programmes, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external partners.
  • Foster a positive, enthusiastic, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils and colleagues.
  • Support and develop the Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective leadership across the school.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably in a senior management or headteacher role.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Experience in strategic planning and the ability to lead change initiatives.
  • A relevant teaching qualification and leadership training, such as NPQH or equivalent.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school with a focus on individualised learning and student well-being.
  • A track record of improving academic outcomes and raising standards.
  • Experience in managing a boarding environment or working with a diverse student population.
  • Familiarity with independent school operations and governance structures.
