The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the school’s operations, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and respect across the school community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and attainment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Promote the school’s mission and values, ensuring alignment with the trust’s vision and goals.
  • Support staff development and professional growth, creating a motivated and cohesive team.
  • Oversee the management of resources, budgets, and school infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and educational requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting, ideally as a Headteacher or senior leader.
  • Strong track record in improving student achievement and school performance.
  • Deep commitment to inclusion, diversity, and student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Experience in managing large teams and leading strategic development.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
  • Background in leading school improvement initiatives or transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and educational policy.
  • Experience in community engagement and partnership building.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex challenges and drive positive change.
