Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school with a clear vision, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve academic outcomes and student wellbeing.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that values the contributions of all staff and students.
  • Oversee the management of the school’s resources, including staff, facilities, and budgets.
  • Work closely with governors, staff, and the wider community to promote the school’s mission and values.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding standards.
  • Support the professional development of staff and encourage innovation in teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the school to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, preferably as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong track record in improving student achievement and raising standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policies, curriculum development, and school management.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing large, diverse student cohorts and working within an academy trust.
  • Demonstrated success in leading school improvement initiatives and change management.
  • Experience with leading a school through periods of growth and development.
  • Familiarity with using data to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
