Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school with a clear vision, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance academic standards and student outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Trust, local community, and stakeholders.
  • Support the professional development of staff and promote a culture of collaboration.
  • Ensure the school’s inclusive ethos is embedded in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Oversee the effective management of the school’s resources and operations.
  • Work closely with the Local Governing Board to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Inspire and motivate students, staff, and the wider community to achieve excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status or NQT with recent UK classroom experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, ideally as a Headteacher or deputy.
  • Strong track record in maintaining high academic standards and improving student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and innovative approach to education and school management.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a Multi Academy Trust.
  • Experience with inclusive education and supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with the current secondary curriculum and willingness to train in new areas.
  • Experience in managing a large, diverse student population.
