- Champion outstanding pupil outcomes through high-quality teaching and meaningful therapeutic integration.
- Inspire and develop a motivated, accountable team with a positive, empowering culture.
- Create a safe, inclusive environment that prioritises safeguarding, wellbeing, and equality.
- Lead with confidence through inspection, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and Independent Special School standards.
- Build a high-performing workforce through strategic CPD and clear expectations.
- Drive sustainable performance by managing admissions, occupancy, and financial planning.
- Embed a shared vision aligned with the school’s mission to improve lives through education.
- Use data and reflection to deliver measurable progress and long-term improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Degree in a relevant field
- NPQH qualification
- Strong understanding of education legislation and special education frameworks
- Deep commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Confidence in leading through Ofsted frameworks and inspection readiness
Preferred
- Experience in leading a special educational needs school
- Background in therapeutic integration or multi-disciplinary team leadership
- Experience in strategic planning and school improvement
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
