Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership aligned with the school’s Christian values and ethos.
- Drive continued excellence in academic outcomes, behaviour, and student wellbeing.
- Lead and develop a large, highly professional teaching and support staff team.
- Collaborate with governors, the Trust, and the Diocese to ensure strategic alignment.
- Promote a culture of safeguarding and high standards of pupil and staff welfare.
- Shape the strategic direction of the school to ensure long-term success.
- Foster strong community links and engagement with local stakeholders.
- Oversee the management of the school’s unique working farm and co-curricular programmes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher in a similar setting.
- A strong commitment to Church school leadership and values.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and improve school performance.
- Experience in managing large teams and driving strategic development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience in post-16 education or leadership training (e.g., NPQH).
- Familiarity with working in a multi-academy trust environment.
- Experience in curriculum development and pastoral care.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
