Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff to deliver high-quality education and pastoral care.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the school that aligns with its mission and values.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across all aspects of school life.
- Oversee the curriculum, ensuring it is rigorous, engaging, and prepares students for success in senior schools.
- Represent the school externally, building strong relationships with parents, the local community, and educational partners.
- Ensure the school maintains its high standards in teaching, learning, and co-curricular activities.
- Support the development of students through a strong emphasis on the arts, sport, and outdoor education.
- Work closely with the Trust Executive team and school community to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role, preferably in a preparatory school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of girls’ education and the 4–11 age group.
- Strong strategic and management skills with the ability to drive innovation and improvement.
- A deep understanding of curriculum development and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Experience in fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a school through a period of growth or transition.
- Familiarity with the Francis Holland Schools Trust or similar educational institutions.
- A passion for the arts, sport, and co-curricular activities.
- Experience in working with diverse communities and families.
