Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of staff to deliver an exceptional educational experience for all students.
  • Develop and implement a consistent and effective behaviour policy that promotes a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents, local schools, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in academic outcomes and student well-being.
  • Support the delivery of innovative programmes such as the Six Horizons initiative.
  • Ensure the school maintains and enhances its reputation as a leading institution for boys’ education.
  • Collaborate with the Pioneer Educational Trust to leverage resources and expertise.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, high expectations, and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or in senior leadership within a secondary school.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum development, student welfare, and school improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision of developing ethical future leaders.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading school transformation or improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with innovative educational initiatives and digital learning platforms.
  • Background in working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative structures.
  • Experience in developing and delivering personal development programmes for students.
