The Opportunity:
As a Headteacher, you will lead a school rated Good with Outstanding Features, championing excellence in teaching and learning while fostering a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and personal growth. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and delivering the ethos of “Thinking and Learning Differently”.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of outcomes for students, ensuring the overall success of the school and effective line management of staff
- Deliver outstanding pupil outcomes through a highly engaging and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of all students
- Implement strategies that improve behaviour, attendance, and engagement in learning
- Integrate therapeutic programmes into the education programme to support student development
- Ensure high-quality teaching that delivers effective learning and measurable progress
- Foster a culture of wellbeing, confidence, and achievement across the school community
- Strengthen partnerships with the local community and external stakeholders
- Ensure effective use of resources and robust systems to maintain high standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent
- Willingness to extend personal and professional development
- Ability to lead and provide a clear vision
Preferred
- Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team in a SEND setting
- Proven track record in whole-school improvement
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with therapeutic and trauma-informed education approaches
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £90,000 per annum
