The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school to ensure it meets its aims and targets, with a focus on continuous improvement and raising standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and practices that promote a safe, disciplined, and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with the School Committee and external partners to evaluate performance and identify priorities for growth.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and efficient management of day-to-day operations.
  • Foster strong partnerships with local authorities, higher education institutions, and community organizations.
  • Create a productive and engaging learning environment that supports the potential of all pupils.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations, integrity, and respect for individuality.
  • Drive the school’s commitment to excellence through leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership within education.
  • Strong track record in improving school performance and raising standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a school community effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and practices that support student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with multi-agency partnerships and community stakeholders.
  • Leadership in a school with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
  • Background in driving school improvement and achieving Ofsted recognition.
  • Experience in leading a school through a period of growth and development.
