The Opportunity:

As Headteacher, you will lead a Catholic school through a transformative phase of growth and development. You will be responsible for driving school improvement and creating a culture of inclusion and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff and students, promoting a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
  • Uphold and advance the Catholic mission and values of the school, ensuring alignment with the Church’s teachings.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance academic achievement and student well-being.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the holistic development of all students.
  • Collaborate with the Governing Board to ensure effective governance and school improvement.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring smooth running and efficient resource allocation.
  • Promote strong relationships with parents, the local community, and external partners.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for staff to support ongoing growth and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role, preferably as a Headteacher.
  • Strong commitment to the Catholic faith and mission of the Church.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a school community.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational best practices and school improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Catholic school setting.
  • A track record of achieving high academic standards and student outcomes.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of inclusion and community engagement.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
