The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Headteacher to lead this thriving all-through school. The role involves overseeing a wide range of academic and co-curricular initiatives, including the transition of the Prep School to the Senior School site. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, driven by a commitment to excellence, and capable of inspiring both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff and students across all age groups.
  • Oversee the successful transition of the Prep School to the Senior School site.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance academic results and student outcomes.
  • Promote the school’s profile both nationally and internationally through effective marketing and outreach.
  • Ensure a strong, supportive, and inclusive school community that prioritizes the well-being and development of all students.
  • Collaborate with the Governing Body to shape the strategic direction of the school.
  • Maintain and enhance the school’s reputation for academic excellence and pastoral care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, ideally at a senior level.
  • A strong track record in academic achievement and school development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a large and diverse team.
  • Experience in leading school transitions and major projects.

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate Programme.
  • Background in boarding school leadership.
  • Experience in school marketing and public relations.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and pastoral care policies.
