Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a passionate, professional team committed to delivering high-quality education and student support.
  • Develop and implement a consistent and effective behaviour policy that promotes a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support student achievement and school improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of an inclusive curriculum that challenges inequality and supports the growth of all learners.
  • Manage and develop the school’s pastoral systems and personal development programmes to ensure a supportive and empowering environment for students.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the school continues to improve and meets its educational goals.
  • Collaborate with the wider Trust to share best practices and support the development of all students across the Trust.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • A commitment to inclusive education, challenging inequality, and supporting the growth of all learners.
  • Experience in implementing and sustaining effective behaviour policies and pastoral systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school with a strong focus on extra-curricular activities and student engagement.
  • Familiarity with flexible working practices and a commitment to promoting a positive work-life balance.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
  • A track record of successful school improvement and Ofsted inspection outcomes.
